As 'okay' as he could possibly mean, she meant of course - the difference between okay and not okay with people with cancer was sick and sicker. "He was fine this morning..." She confirmed with a slow slight nod, fingers running reassuringly up and down the older woman's arms - this was hard on all fo them and it was because of how intensely they all loved that young man that they stuck through it all...
