So complicated to escape fate
And you can never understand till we trade places
Tell the world I been guilty of being to anxious
It's time to face this, cold world on a good day

"Mama.." She breathed the name in soft relief - sometimes, there was nothing better than hearing the voice of her mother. Clearing the lump in her throat, she glanced back at Jas and then shifted to face the wall as she spoke softly. "I'm at the hospital.. It's Austin. Can you come?" Not only would the woman be concerned about Austin, but she would want to be there for Jas, and her daughter, Mia knew. She was trying to keep her voice calm - this was just something that happened sometimes, but every time... She wondered if it would be the last. Pushing aside those thoughts, she swallowed softly - she was always lecturing Austin about staying positive, and she just had to follow suit... // He hadn't even stopped at the front desk, just made his way through the labyrinth of the hospital that he sometimes felt he knew better than his own home, and stepped out of the elevator none too soon. Sighing deeply when he spotted his wife, he just lingered there in the middle of the room for a long while, glanced to Mia on the phone - he hated that she had to hurt so badly along with them all, but would be eternally grateful for everything that she did for his son.. And then moved over to Jas, wordlessly slipping his arms slowly around his wife.
