Subject: At his squeeze, her own eyes fluttered open, but she didn't sit up until he spoke, and then offered a small, loving smile. "Hey... Baby. Let me get you a drink..." She leaned down to press a soft kiss to his palm before reaching to the table next to the bed where there was some water - warm so as to soothe his throat - already waiting. Handing it over to him, she wordlessly just helped him out a little bit and then set the cup back down for him, then reached up to brush away a droplet from his chin before she finally spoke again, forcing herself to smile for his sake. "How're you feeling, love?

So complicated to escape fate
And you can never understand till we trade places
Tell the world I been guilty of being to anxious
It's time to face this, cold world on a good day

  • He groaned quietly, shifting on the bed to get more comfortable - his back aching from laying so long. "Aggravated..." He grumbled, his brow furrowed. "Shitty timing..." He sighed softly, lifting one hand to run gently down her jaw. "So sorry, love..." He really felt horrible, they had so much to decide now on whether to move up the wedding it push it back or leave it alone....but he was just so damn tired that he couldn't even sit up on his own or take a drink of water without her help. This is just what he hadn't wanted - her having to take care of him over and over again. (NT) -- Austin, Mon, Nov 22 2004, 6:58pm PST
