• Her eyes were bright though she was trying hard to stay calm, however worried she was about the baby. She drew a deep breath and glanced over her shoulder to him, brow furrowed softly as she bore the nerves well. She eased herself from the chair to the bed with the nurses help once they had changed her into the gown. • He had no idea what she was talking about so all he could do was lean against the wall and hold her hand, his eyes travelling from the doctor to her and back again. All he knew was that he wanted her out of pain and he wanted to hold his little boy in his arms. Other then that, his mind was moving to fast for him to even know what he was thinking. • The doctor smiled a little at Leah and tipped his head, he wasn't sure if it wasn't a disadvantage that she was a doctor and had this kind of knowledge, though she was doing well to stay so calm. "We can't be sure at this point... A section would be the last resort, hopefully your baby will turn in time, if not, we can aid him to turn, but lets just hope it doesn't come to that." • He nodded immediatly, heading over to the door to go down the hall and get a cup full of ice chips, his eyes drifting around. He was looking a little tense, which he was, but it was coming across as anger - thats just the way he was. He wanted to control everything around him and he couldn't control this - it drove him nuts. • She nodded gently as she gazed up at him, her fingers linking into his tenderly "I think it would be best if I did.... the baby hasn't turned around in my womb yet and he may have moved to low to turn, so it might be painful..." • Tears sprung in her bright blue eyes as she squeezed them closed, biting down on her lip harshly as she tried to relax. She let out a heavy breath as it eased, but her slight frame was shaking from the stress and strain. She opens her eyes upto him and catches her breath "Its okay baby, I'm fine... " She allowed the doctor to roll her onto her side so they could give her the drug injection, holding tightly to his hand and she closed her eyes. She hadn't wnated the drug for her fear of needles but under the circumstances it was the best option. She relaxed back in the bed and closed her eyes softly, murmering softly to him "I hope you're feelin' guilty baby" her voice was as light and playful as she could make it, her fingers still laced tightly into his. • She closed her eyes and let out a soft breath, a smile flickering at her lips a little as he kissed her, he was doing a pretty good job at staying calm for her, and she knew how frustraiting this must be for him, when he was so used to being able to stop everything that hurt her and control everything. • In his absence the labour had moved along a little, though she felt fairly unaware of what was actually going on, the drugs effecting her and numbing her. Tears still glistened in her eyes dispite this, though she was bravely holding them back. • The doctors were busy preparing her and themselves, and before she knew what was happening she was being told that the baby had infact turned. A look of releif spread ove her features and she glanced up at her husband, tears glazing her eyes. She sat up slightly, resting her weight on Lukes as they told her to try pushing. She was trying hard to bring back everything she'd been told during the birthing classes they'd attended, but it all just seemed to happen before she could think about it. He stated, of course, it was his baby and he already loved him completely but new babies weren't beautiful things in his eyes. • Her lower lip trembled softly as she gazed down at the ugly red and white baby in her arms, finding him more bautiful than anything she'd ever seen. Tears fell softly from her eyes as her opened his own dark eyes. Soft brown downey hair covered his head and her fingertips ran delicately across it, adoringly as she gazed down, transfixed with him... she had her baby, they had their baby. "Alexander....
