Subject: The doctors were busy preparing her and themselves, and before she knew what was happening she was being told that the baby had infact turned. A look of releif spread ove her features and she glanced up at her husband, tears glazing her eyes. She sat up slightly, resting her weight on Lukes as they told her to try pushing. She was trying hard to bring back everything she'd been told during the birthing classes they'd attended, but it all just seemed to happen before she could think about it. Her fingers tightened with lukes as she pushed, her bright eyes closing tightly.

  • He shifted to rest behind her slightly, his body supporting her back and body as she pushed. "Thats it...you got it baby...you can do this.." Little words of encouragement were playing through his lips as he prayed silently that she would get out of pain quickly and hoping that she wouldn't break his hand or cuss him out. Nothing could have prepared him for this...the screaming and the tears and the yuckiness....yes yuckiness...of it all. (NT) -- Luke, Sun, Jan 02 2005, 11:40am PST
