Subject: She nearly winced at his words, her hand going to her hair almost self consciously before she just shrugged, her eyes slowing opening to focus on him. "I wasn't feeling so good earlier." She stated, turning her eyes over to where the door was to see if the doctor was coming. The old saying was true; the person you loved the most had the most power to hurt you. Every little thing he said had the ability to cut into her. A low breath escaped her before she stood, heading to the door to look out before she looked back to him. "I can just take you to your place when you get out of here."

  • He frowned a little at that - fairly aware of her actions and getting the hint that his words were taken more harshly than they were meant. He almost opened his mouth then to say something along the lines of 'you don't need to be here' but then caught himself - and just sighed quietly instead, silent for a long moment as he conjured up something a little gentler. "I could take a taxi..." Or something, if she wasn't feeling well and wanted to go home - but he left the last part out because it just didn't work with the whole minimalist way of speaking that he had adopted.
