Subject: "No." He didn't hesitate on that one and meant the simple statement. Really, there was no one he would rather be around or have take him home, but he was just worried about her mental state. Everyone kept telling him that he was unstable - well, no one actually said that, but he really got the feeling that they were thinking it - but he worried that maybe it was her who was the crazy one. Why would a sane person put themselves through so much just for the sake of another - especially someone rude and harsh and ungrateful, like himself.
