Was anyone at the Olympia gigs when the equipment was held up over here because of storms and they played the first night with borrowed equipment and no lights or stage set. That was a great gig with the crowd with them all the way. Also Slane in 99, I can remember watching Robbie Williams with Ian, Dajon and Ben and the roadies and them all being amazed at the size of the crowd (about 80,000) they had played to just a couple of hours before all stretched out up the hillside in the dark with lights shining everywhere in the crowd and the river flowing behind the stage area. Lovely memories. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
