I don't know, but I don't think so either. It would cost much but for what? Outside of Germany, there are D-VHS Recorder which can tape DVB diretly.

It would make some sense, if the DVB stream is copy protected to remove the protection without any analog conversion.

Yes, with a PC you can separate the MPEG stream from DVB, convert it to DV, and then record it with DV-in of the HM-DR 10000 ...
