That report doesn't mean anything. My dad would have been counted in the number for Catholics and my mom for the number in Protestants, but neither of them were "religious." You missed my point. 79% of Americans may be part of traditionally Catholic or Christian families, but that does not make them Catholic or Lutheran or Pentecostal or Baptist, etc. God does not have grandchildren. Just because mommy and daddy are part of a religious organization and little Johnny was an altar boy for 2 years, but could care less about the church now does not make him Catholic, Protestant, etc.

I'll have to check George Barna for some more clear stats. But 79% is a misconstrued number.

AND, 68% OF ALL STATISTICS ARE MADE UP!
