Beauty: Pageantwear, formal dress for girls suit or tux for boys. H/M and tanning allowed. Judges will be looking for facial beauty, stage presentation and overall appearance. 0-3yrs will be be judged on personality (waving, smiling, laughing, blowing kisses) 4yrs and up will be judged on stage presentation (going to X's, eye contact, poise).
Photogenic: Photos need to be headshots. Digital retouched photos are allowed. Additional pictures may be entered for an additional $5 fee.
Outfit of Choice: Attire can be off the rack or custom made. It can be anything from Sportswear/Pro-Am, Swimwear, Costume, etc...Props will be allowed. There is a 2 minute limit. We will provide music but you can bring your own. If so please have it labeled with contestant name and number of the song.
One Hi-Point winner will receive a large beautiful crown/trophy/custom made sash, "50 OR MORE CONTESTANTS $100 CASH".
Two Grand Supreme winners (0-3 & 4-up) will receive a large beautiful crown/trophy/custom made sash.
Two Mini Supreme winners (0-3 & 4-up) will receive a large beautiful crown/trophy/custom made sash.
Supreme Queens/Kings will receive a beautiful large crown/trophy/sash. Queen/Kings will receive a beautiful crown/trophy/sash. Princess/Prince will receive a beautiful crown/trophy/sash.
Age division optionals are included in the beauty pkg.: Most beautiful, best dressed, photogenic, OOC, prettiest hair, & prettiest smile. All winners will receive an appropriate award.
There will be door overalls they are an extra $25: Overall most beautiful, overall best dressed, overall photogenic, & overall OOC.
Pageant will start at 2pm. Register from 12:00-1:30pm. Please arrive early so we can get everyone registered and photos judged. Entry fee is $50. Everyone must pay a $25 deposit by May 6th. I do offer sibling discount: 1st child pays full price, 2nd sibling 1/2 off.

WARNING: I'm not a fashion professional nor has this industry been a lifelong dream. But, I see the great value beauty competitions and promotional models bring to the marketplace- especially the African-American sector.
Starting an online beauty contest, especially for a writer and event security professional, is a stretch.
But, I contend, this is a stretch in the right direction.
Events are mass gatherings where organizers must provide not only safety and success but must please and attract a variety of different tastes and attitudes.
Using the JET Beauty of The Month example ( a favorite ), the question is asked, "What does a bikini model have to do with a news digest? ( JET )?"

The MS. CURVES AMERICA PLUS PAGEANT is seeking contestants to compete in the 2006 National Pageant, February 10-11, 2006 in Timonium, Maryland. The pageant "Celebrates Beauty at every Size"
The reigning Ms. Curves America 2005, BONNIE ICKES will crown the new Ms. Curves America national winners. Four (4) national winners will be crowned.
Contestants must be ladies, ages 18-over, size 14 plus, and may be single or married. The national delegates will compete in Interview, Casual Wear, Fashion Wear and Evening Wear.
Upon their arrival on February 10, 2006 the national delegates will attend a Press Reception and Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Dinner. A representative from the Komen Maryland Foundation will be in attendance to accept the donations raised by the national delegates.

And there are so MANY great titles to win! This is a special deal for everyone as a lot of thought and hard work has gone into making this event successful for all of the contestants.
The Hotel is the beautiful, Amersuites Atlanta Airport, located right by Hartsfield International Airport on Sullivan Rd. It is new and gorgeous. Everyone who has a room reservation eats breakfast for free and the room rate is very reasonable! The room block will be open on Monday, November 21, 2005, to accept reservations.
Be sure to book under the Spring Expo Block to receive the rate discount.
Everyone attending who needs a room must book under this block name.
Everyone must stay in a room to change clothes, or for hair & makeup services. No one can use the lobby as we will have professional vendors & pageant systems set up in the ballroom and lobby area, and there will not be enough room.
All vendors who would like to attend need to sign up as quickly as possible.

Outfit of Choice Winner in each age group
The highest outfit score in each group will be the Outfit winner – 1 outfit choice comes with supreme, there is an option to do an additional or all outfits (see application) – Upbeat music will be playing model as you wish.
**If you op to do more outfits the highest score between the outfits will be used for supremes score.
Each age division outfit winner will receive a Tiara

You can enter at the door without notifying the director, but you will have to pay a $10 late fee.
COMPETITION FOR 0-3yrs:
Registration: 10:00am – 10:30am / Pageant begins at 11:45am
Photogenic Judging begins at 10:40am
COMPETITION FOR 4yrs-up:
Registration: 2:00pm-2:30pm / Pageant begins at 3:45pm
Photogenic Judging begins at 2:40pm

Girls: 0-11, 12-18, 19-27, 28-35, 3, 4, 5-6, 7-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-up (married/single) and venus division
Must have at least 2 in each age group or I will combine contestants into the group closest to their age.

The Labor Day Charity Pageant will be held at Hunter Park, in Douglasville, GA, on September 17, 2005, at 9:30am
Entry fee is only $45.00!
Door badges are $5.00, each to help with the expense of the facility. We want to have a great turnout for those in need!
Every contestant is a winner. We always give nice crowns and prizes.
We will have a short appreciation party after crowning with lots of good things to eat. Please support this worthy cause. We will also be accepting donations of supplies to send to New Orleans and Mississippi.
The Atlanta Hurricane benefit picnic was held on Saturday, Sept, 10, 2005, for some of the children who were sent to Atlanta from New Orleans and Mississippi. The children and parents had a great time, and were very thankful for the support, food, clothes, supplies and money they received at the event. Meeting them in person and seeing their face is so different and heartfelt than what we all see on the news or in the papers. We will continue to offer our support and prayers.
