I know it sucked tht she died--I adored Anya sometimes--but it was perfect --it showed how much she had changed over the years--she finally understood why humans do what they do--she gave her life to help save the world--she rocks--it was a beautiful ending for the ex-demon who was sentenced to mortality ,fell in love w/a human got burned by humanity, chose evil again, came back to the good fight, put her life on the line without being forced, and died protecting a boy. OOh that's kind of ironic her life was once about punishing guys--and now she died to protect one. I mean I know she risked her life for everyone--but still--kinda cool.
Anyway, I'm oddly at peace with the ending--that smile on Buffy's face at the end was just so satisfying. Damn good job Mr.Whedon!
