I would be interested in hearing exhibitors' opinions as to how property classes at RR Specialty Shows should be judged.

In particular the Best Gait and Best Ridge classes.

The standard calls for the gait of a RR to be 'straight forward, free and active' so should the Best Gait class include an 'out and back' or should it be judged on side gait alone? This class is often judged only on side gait and I don't think I have ever seen this class judged purely on an 'out and back' but maybe someone else has.

And the best ridge class - should it be judged with the dogs sitting or standing?

I would be interested to hear what anyone's thoughts.
