Subject: I use Yahoo Search Marketing for the company where I work. more inside

The people there have been very helpful and the business has managed to remain number one on most of the search engines - but not all as this Yahoo company doesn't subscribe to every search engine eg Google. It works on an auction basis. I can't remember exactly what the initial set up costs where but I do know that every time someone clicks on our company name we are then charged an amount of money. We have remained number 1 but any of our competitors could decide to bid for the number one position and we could lose our spot. The owner of the company had to deposit $100 onto his account and when that $100 is all used we then have to transfer more money into the account. It is expected each month to reach $25 worth of clicks, so if you don't get that many clicks they deduct the remaining amount from your account. So if we only got $17 worth of clicks in one month they would deduct a further $8 from the account for that month.

I hope this is the sort of information you were after!!!
