Geocities ok.. but it drives me mad how with free sites you sometimes get an in between pages, you go to the proper address, but geocities puts up an adverts only page with a "continue to such and such a site" link. grrr

Most of the popup places (tripod, angelfire etc) are ok ifyou minimise the first pop-up.. you then won;t get anymore while you browse, the original add pop-up will just change in the background where you cant see it.

I hear fateback is ok.. i think Ray said they don't have ads.
