Make sure all the photos are saved as jpg.. not gif. Gif fr a photo gives big file sizes, jpgs are smaller.

You can also increase the compression on a jpg to make the file sizes smaller. This will make the photo a little blurry and speckled in places, but some of the images on the site are quite large file sizes, and could be compressed easily without losing too much detail.

Also cut down the size of photos as much as possible. Remove any areas round the dress that are unessecary - backgrounds etc. Even chop of heads maybe! It is the dress that is needed after all. That will also reduce file sizes.

Resize leger images as well (not through the HTML, by changing the images).

Limit the number of photos per dress - maybe say one photo of front, one of back only.


All these will make the sizes of your images lower, which will then lessen the data transfer you get, hopefully helping to solve the problem (or at least make it not as bad).
