it should be index.htm or index.html - some hosts will put a temporary index file and you can upload to your heart's delight, but if you don't replace the index file you'll still see the 'coming soon' thing.

I have one site on doteasy now (had a 2nd one there for awhile), and really haven't had many problems. have never worked with frontpage though.
