is it a .GIF file? gif's are the only files that work animation (aside from flash and fancy stuff).

are you looking at it 'on the page' in a web-editor or in a browser (like Netscape or IE, etc)? sometimes the editor/creator programs will show it, but it won't 'dance' until you actually browse the site.

if those aren't the problem, then maybe the file was somehow edited or something? try downloading it to your computer again and putting it on the website and see how it goes, maybe?
