I don't think we can compare ourselves to a kennel therefore the descrepency in fees. If you charge $14 a visit and it takes you 15 minutes round trip to and from the house toaling 45 minutes all for $14! That is not so far from minimun wage. We make at least 2 trips if not three to dog homes and do soooo much where as the kennel is stationary and the owner provides the transpo.
My client are not the type to question my fees but the callers are always humming and hawing...LOL Needless to say they are not the type to become clients either.
