I'm with you Carolla, the whole situation is too wierd and I would be "too booked" the next time he called. My dad and my husband had guns and the last thing they ever did was leave them out for "visitors" to see. They were always under lock and key. What was the point of his directing you to the room with a gun lying out? This is way too wierd and I hope this never happens to me. Good luck.
