Hi Laurie;
I would go ahead and charge the client what she is rightfully supposed to pay. Remember being a nice guy and not charging for little things doesn't alwyas make the client like you or your services better. It sometimes gives those the right to take further advantage in the future. Remember this is a business and unless your independently wealthy charge clients what they owe. Since the client lives near by I would suggest you call her one evening and let her know that you'll be in the area and would like to stop by to collect payment. Otherwise I would go ahead and add late fees and change your payment policy on this one in the future;perhaps collect half up front. Or if she's a high risk client you may want to consider not taking her on.
