Actually the Kids USA Director is the only one that I know of in AZ who forbids poor sports from coming back because she wants to keep a positive environment for the kids. She very much succeeds in doing that. Mothers who bad mouth another child's win are told that they can no longer participate in Kids USA. Evrybody knows that with JS you can't be nasty about a child and I'm glad that she is that way.
I have to share what a good person JS is too. I have been having health problems and several times she has just called me out of the blue to see how I am feeling and one day when I was bedridden she brought over sub sandwiches to feed my kids for dinner. And nobody knew that she was doing all of this so I feel that I need to share so you can know what sort of person JS is. During this entire time she never mentioned competing in her next pageant. She was just being nice and very Christian. All of this and my daughter is not her royalty or anything besides a contestant.
Out of the hundreds of people who do Kids USA JS makes all of the kids feel important. My daughter loves her and the Kids USA pageant system and so do I!
Wish we would all be this nice!

JS is awesome! My complaint is not against her personally, but she is running a business! So, don't fool yourself! You are nothing more than a number. It is business and you need to keep that in mind. And, like all business owners just starting a business, she will tell you whatever you need to hear to keep you coming back.
