His Obituary

Charles " Chuck " Ray Barron

1940 - 2006

Charles "Chuck" Ray Barron, 65, of Pensacola, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2006.

Chuck was an avid golfer, enjoyed hunting and was an Alabama Football fan. He also was Co-founder in 1983 of America's Cover Miss and Cover Boy USA, a children's and teen's national beauty pageant. He attended Olive Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Cliffie Barron, and sister Betty Lee.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; daughter, Ashley (Rod) Bonner; and grandchildren, Madyson and Cameron Bonner.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2006 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Pensacola Memorial Gardens.

Pallbeaers will be Ray Ostreicher, Chad Kramer, Mike Drammond, Mike Bennett, Tommy Pugh and Kenneth Macks.

Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
