It's been years since I've been in the pageant system...They have changed, but I was happy with how things went. My daughter didn't win, and honestly as much as I wanted her to, I wasn't expecting her to, but I did expect her to do better than she did. They say they don't judge on the clothes but I know it's hard not to. I think we'll do Cinderella again, but I would like to try Our Little Miss also and maybe a few others.

I haven't been to their internationals but don't like what I had heard so I decided to start with a preliminry in AZ. What a joke! Not only did it get canceled, the local director was a snot to me on the phone! Great example! So then I called the state director and her husband said that she doesn't handle "local people", that I should talk to the prelim director. Then by all means...take your good pageant money else where! I know the prelim director that you are talking about and she is one of the nicest people in the world! Obviously, this was just one person's experience and maybe the director was having a bad day. We ALL have those! LOL Maybe give it some time and try again at a later time. Or try to call her and discuss the matter. As for the state Director, most don't talk to you anyways because there are too many contestants so it isn't unusual. Just keep trying the local director. Actually, I believe this post because the State Director has been rude to me before. I know that she is a busy person (aren't we all?) but she was not willing to talk to me at all. Not a very nice way to treat your paying moms! She never did answer me and I guess didn't think that I was that important. Big mistake! There is no reason to be rude!
