Things that went wrong/need improvement or just plain bothered me:

NOTHING started on time, not a single event. Everything was anywhere from 15-45 minutes late in starting.

The judges did not seem interested at all in the pageant. They picked a few favorites (overheard that from some of the lifetime royalty) and it was noticeable.

The judges had no grasp on what they were judging for. They didn't understand the rules and did not judge accordingly. One girl had a complete wardrobe of clothes that were very ill fitting (she was thin and the clothes were too big) yet she won best dressed? Now on the plus side, I do feel that the girls that won the supremes and grand supreme were deserving. I hadn't paid much attention to the 0-4 as far as who won supreme so I don't have an opinion on that one.

The lifetime and some of the attending royalty were very inappropriately dressed the entire weekend. Their clothing was overly suggestive for kids their age. Clothing I would never consider letting my daughter wear anywhere in public.

Some of the lifetime and attending royalty (not all) were not well behaved and did not pay attention to what was going on or what they were supposed to be doing. Even to the point of laying down on the edge of the stage DURING modeling events.

Many of the kids at the pageant ran WILD!!! I'm sorry, I understand little girls playing, but some parents didn't care what their kids were doing and took no effort to control them at all. They were running around the stage and in front of the judges during events and one little girl had to be pulled back out of the way by another parent because she was about to get hit by a girl doing her talent. I do want to mention that there were a few parents that were trying to reign in their childrens behaviors but as we know as parents that is a hard thing to do when 5 other kids are NOT behaving appropriately.

Several of the older girls who did not win what they thought they should have pouted, not only on stage but off, and were noticeably upset enough for the directors to try and comfort them. That is just wrong, if your child cannot accept an award with grace whether or not it was the one they wanted then maybe they need a bit more coaching or should stop doing pageants all together. Parents, please be gracious and don't teach your children to be poor sports by modeling that exact behavior in front of them.

If I were a director for this pageant I would NOT use those judges again and I would definately work on getting events to start on time.

The parent talent night was fun, loved the baked goods (one of the talents).

I think this could be a really good pageant, they just have a LOT of kinks to work out.
