Subject: I have a question about an alleged FL Pageant Director...................

Hi! I purchased a dress from a "lady" who allegedly is or was a Pageant Director in FL. She received my money orders on April 20th (she emailed me and told me she did), and this coming Tuesday will be 3 WEEKS, and I still have no dress!!! Her first excuse was that she had to go out of town, and that her mom was supposed to mail the dress for her, but didn't, and she was back in town and would get the dress out ASAP. The second email I got was that a family member had passed and she had to go out of town AGAIN, and when she got back on Monday (5/3), she would mail it out. Well, I still have no dress, or no email or phone call!! My general question to you pageant moms out there is how long should I wait before I try to either have her prosecuted or file a lawsuit against her?? I believe three weeks is too long to wait for a dress they allegedly have. I understand your family comes first and foremost, and maybe she's possibly legit, but I sent her $750.00 of my hard earned money, and I have nothing to show for it. I have called her every day, and emailed her, and she is avoiding me. Her initials are TC - if I don't hear anything from her by the end of this business day, I will definitely tell everyone her name. This has never happened to me before, and she seemed like a nice person, emailing me and even giving me her number, which she didn't have to do. I am at a loss here. Any advice ya'll could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

- Hi! I surely hope she's not trying to stiff me, and I swear I have heard such good things about her, but I have called her every day this week, and sent emails - nothing. If you were in my shoes, what would you think?? I'm just stunned and very upset, because my DD has upcoming pageants, and we have no dress, which of course makes me very, very nervous. If you are a personal friend of hers, or know someone who knows her, then please just go pick the dress up and mail it to me. Heck, I'll even drive down there to get it!
