I got nothing. I put in for me and my wife on two separate apps. My brother did the same and he got nothing. We had 2nd and 3rd hunts as our first choice for Toso and Seminole ranch. I don't know why they bother giving you more than one selection. The way they do it now, if you dont get picked in the first round you dont get anything. Yet there are always guys who have permits to all the hunts. At least the old way they did it, You had a chance of getting one of your other choices. I hate to see them make the permits non transferrable, I go to Toso on sundays and at least get to hunt the afternoons (doesnt work on turkey hunts,ha). But you here of some guys with permits to every hunt, just doesn't seem right. I guess they buy a bunch of mgmt area stamps and the state likes the money. I went to Toso last year and waited at the gate trying to get a permit on the last turkey hunt and there were only 5 hunters in. They give out either 25 or 30 permits(i don't remember). What if they made them non transferrable but allowed walk-ins if the quota of hunters did not show up for the hunt. I dont know what the answer is, but something needs to change.
Just My opinion.
