Welcome to the board (dont think i've seen you post here before), and thanks so much for sharing your comments about the Oscars. I didnt see it before i posted my own and was wondering why no one else posted and then i saw it and was like, "duh Myst" LOL
Very well said, i particularly agree about Brad's parents and how sweet his mom is. In my links, i posted an article about him bringing them and some quotes from him about it, a very sweet article
I may slightly disagree with you about Jolie and whether they make a good couple, but we can agree on one thing: she really does look genuine proud and supportive of him and that is beyond important in ANY partnership. So for that, i do think they might be in it for the long haul, they just have each others back. And his parents like her (at least they do publicly hehe), which is a bit surprising but nonetheless heartwarming that they care about their son this much and just want him to be happy, even if she's not necessarily my idea of a perfect daughter in law if, with her checkered past and all....But she's the mother of their grandkids so i'm glad there's love all around there
And physically they really are a good match, although i really wish she'd put on some weight and use a spray tan occasionally (and this is coming from someone with a very fair skin myself LOL)
I also very much agree with you about Meryl, i was glad she won. She is a living legend as far as acting goes, there was never nor will there ever be another actress of her caliber...I missed a portion of her acceptance speech though, bec my DVR stopped too early and i cant find it on youtube or anywhere :((( Hope someone posts it in the next few days. She always has such funny, witty and heartfelt acceptance speeches!
Just out of curiosity: which movie does Brad have with Natalie Portman coming up, i dont think i've heard of it?? Is it Cogan's Trade that he has coming out later this yr? I know she isnt in World War Z?
