So, did nobody see the Oscars? Or were everyone really put off by Jolie's preening and pouting to care? hehe Either way, Brad looked smashing so here are some pics:

And i'm sorry but that ridiculous pose that Jolie did while presenting and got rightfully mocked by the Sound Mixing winners for it (who knew Sound Mixing dorks can be witty? hehe) was really hilarious to me. Here's the perfect photo recap from People & Eonline:

Can't believe they started a Twitter account for her right leg, how ridiculous is that?
I liked her dress but she obviously thought she was way too hot for her own good, swathed in that black velvet. Also, they could've done her hair a little nicer, it looked half curled, half just hanging there. At the Globes she looked a gazillion times better put-together! And i'm sorry, but when you like to show off your legs so much, make sure they are not this scraggly and bony. Sorry, i was not impressed :P
Anyway, enough about Jolie. The fashion standouts for me were Jessica Chastain and Octavia Spencer, they both looked stunning. Even Meryl Streep pulled out something a little more fancy and fashionable than she typically does. I was glad she won.
Brad brought his parents to the awards, who could be seen sitting right behind him. His mom is so pretty, everytime i see her, i think how much Brad looks like her. Here's a little touching article about Brad bringing his parents to the show:

Cant wait to see The Artist, btw, now i'm really intrigued by it. I downloaded it for free online from a Russian website (since it's a basically silent film, language isnt important hehe), will see it in the next few days.
