That is interesting, I have never heard she accused him doing something like that. You are right, it is not fair to spread stories like these because he can't defend himself anymore.

But in this new documentary I was talking about she talked about what a good caring person he was. She only said the best about him, how generous he was and such things.

In the meantime I looked on the net if this documentary is available and I found out that I watched an edited version of it on tv. The orginial is over 4 hours long, too long for tv, I guess, and has archive footage never seen before like Elvis meeting President Nixon, family vacations and other things that show Elvis how he was as a private person.

It's available on amazon:

You know, when it comes to Elvis it is so hard to pick only a few songs that you like. I mean, he had so many great songs. The list is really endless.

Do you know the song "In the ghetto". The sound of his voice is so awesome when he sings the line 'on a cold and grey Chicago morning', especially the first words 'on a cold' where he starts with that deep voice and quickly moves up his vocal register. I get goosebumps everytime I hear him sing that line.

IN THE GHETTO

As the snow flies
On a cold and gray chicago mornin
A poor little baby child is born
In the ghetto
And his mama cries
cause if theres one thing that she dont need
Its another hungry mouth to feed
In the ghetto

People, dont you understand
The child needs a helping hand
Or hell grow to be an angry young man some day
Take a look at you and me,
Are we too blind to see,
Do we simply turn our heads
And look the other way

Well the world turns
And a hungry little boy with a runny nose
Plays in the street as the cold wind blows
In the ghetto

And his hunger burns
So he starts to roam the streets at night
And he learns how to steal
And he learns how to fight
In the ghetto

Then one night in desperation
A young man breaks away
He buys a gun, steals a car,
Tries to run, but he dont get far
And his mama cries

As a crowd gathers round an angry young man
Face down on the street with a gun in his hand
In the ghetto

As her young man dies,
On a cold and gray chicago mornin,
Another little baby child is born
In the ghetto

I see you are a Elvis fan too, that is good. I guess your husband is too. I have never meet anyone that didn't like him. He must have the biggest fanbase in the world. Also 30 years after he died.

What songs do you especially like, Gina?

There are so many, 'Suspicious minds' is awesome, 'Love Letters' is a very beautiful ballad, 'Devil in disguise', just to name a few.
