Hey Mystie, This is Gina's Daughter! how have you been?I wanna come back to New York sometime soon.

My mom had me read your post and I have a question for you. If religion is unnecessary, what happens when you die? I believe that we have religion to understand that there is a higher power beyond us that we don't necessarily understand. But, you have faith that it exists. With this higher power that we have faith in gets us to a better place when we die. If there was no religion then what is there to look forward to when we die? What makes us want to act like honest, honorable, good people? This is why it is so important to teach children about religion, to make them believe in a higher power, and make them want to be good. Also, growing up on the base I had, I very strongly believe in God and in organized religion. This gave me a strong base and guidlines to follow throughout my life. I know many people who didn't have a strong religious base and they wished they had because they are ending up pregnant or used and insecure. A friend of mine is very jealous of me and my family life because she didn't have the upbringing I had with religion. She had no direction. I feel fortunate but bad at the same time because she doesn't have a strong base.

I hope things are going good for you! I hope to see you soon in NYC!!
~Rachel
