Thanks for the scoop, buddy, that's interesting. yeah, i think i totally missed the boat on the whole Twilight craze, i just received the first movie on Netflix to see what all the fuss is about...i know plenty of people that went to the midnight showing of the New Moon also, there's gotta have been a lot becuase that movie broke all kinds of records at the box office. I used to think it was just the tweens/teenage girls that were into this but no, one of my coworkers has read the entire Twilight trilogy in books and is obsessed with it, she says it's amazing. I'm not a big vampire fan, the only vampire movie i like is IWTV and we all know why :) I feel like the whole vampire theme just turned into a trend and it's kind of lame when that happens...But hey, it's a smart business decision on Brad's part to capitalize on this craze, i'm sure whatever he produces would bring in plenty of revenue
Speaking of movies Brad produced, I just watched a sweet movie the other day that was produced by Plan B called Away We Go. It's an indie movie and i remember when it came out, it got really good reviews. It stars the cute guy from The Office (John Krasinski) & the woman that used to be on Saturday Night Live, Maya Rudolph. You probably have no idea who they are so just google their pics, i'm sure you've seen them. It was directed by the same director who directed American Beauty, Sam Mendes (he's married to Kate Winslet, if that makes it easier to identify him LOL) Anyway, the movie was really quirky, as many indie movies go, but laugh out loud funny in places and i was glad that Brad was the one that produced it (in fact, he's listed as the only executive producer in the credits, kind of neat), it's so cool that Plan B takes chance on many low budget movies like that, this isn't the first by far. I think this one got a few Independent Spirit Award nominations, we'll see if it wins come awards season...But i do recommend it, it's about this couple that's about to have a baby and they embark on this road trip to see where they should put down roots and raise the baby, along the way they meeet a whole bunch of kooky characters. It's really a cute story, i really enjoyed that movie. It's called AWAY WE GO.
