Have you seen this movie?? I thought it was completely stupid and way off base.

Watching it took me back to my younger days when i was a single gal playing the dating game. In this movie they made the women appear so desperate and wacho, like men hold all the cards in any relationship. I don't agree. I remember my then boyfriend, now hubby, never returned my calls when we first started dating. It was a bit of a chase on my part. If I had done as this movie stated, we wouldn't have hooked up at all. It annoyed me a bit watching it and having men act they they are so much more superior to lie and cheat and claim that it is honesty from their point of view to avoid hurting anyone. What crap!!

From my point of view if there isn't a challenge to a relationship it will grow old, tired and stale quickly. The chase was the excitement in the relationship at that young age. Course we laugh about it now and we both feel this movie and it's message is complete crap. Love is without a doubt worth the risk we take to letting him know how we feel.If we are honest, it forces them to be honest especially if they have no interest at all. If not, it might just make them realize that there is more to it then the fear they may have a woman who feels he is worth the effort.

Mystie, have you seen this movie? What was your take on it being a single gal. I know you are in a relationship, but, was hooking up easy for you two?
