This happened a few months ago, I let another clubs student visiting from another area roll with our guys on a weekend he came a few times and everything seemed cool. He claimed to have a few months of training only did no-gi but that was cool it was during an open mat. And he had skills. Didn’t know he was talking smack about one of our blue belts. Now let me explain I have a blue belt that just got his blue belt in Seattle Washington right before he took a job here, and he is about 50 years old, he is doing this to stay in shape, had a heart attack 3 years ago, due to stress. But you couldn’t tell it by looking at him. Or rolling with him, but to have someone who haven’t put a gi to make a comment “I was expecting more out of a blue belt”

I guess it takes all kinds.

One of our guys told him “to put a gi on and see if that changes his mind”

Oh by the way, he wasn’t from anyone’s gym that posts here.
