(He liked the way her body felt now that it was softer from lack of constant training. When they had been working together at the agency he had always been turned on by her body simply because it reminded him of the strength she posessed.. but now that he had seen what childbirth did to a woman's body and what she went through in the process of labor, he had a deepset appreciation for the strength all women had. Now that she was carrying his child, the protective emotions that he felt at certain times seemed to be overwhelming him almost all the time.. he just wanted to take care of her, to coddle her until the baby was born because he was afraid of what could happen if he didn't. He had been focused on watching his hand as he followed the path of a faded scar over her side from her hip and up over the side of her left breast, and his eyes lifted as soon as he heard her voice. He seemed frozen for a moment as her words sunk in and the emotions he was feeling shifted from desire to love and intense need.. of all the things he worried about, being needed was the one thing that meant the most to him, and hearing those words from her shifted something inside him. When they had been together in the agency he had never felt like she needed him.. she had been strong and independant and almost arrogant at times.. and he had always felt like his love was just an added bonus of their working together.. and not something that she needed.) Skye.. (He said softly, as though he had been waiting for her to say those words all along, and just as suddenly as he had stopped moving he pulled her into his arms and pressed his lips to hers, expressing the reciprocal emotions he had always felt with his kiss.)
