Things had changed so much over the course of the years, she had changed and so had he. She wanted to be the woman for him that Fyre was, wanted to be good for him, to be his partner in life and make things easier instead of harder. She knew Jewel didn't think she was good enough for her son, hell, she didn't think so either. She was a broken woman, used and tossed aside and she felt like a shell of a person sometimes but being with him, it gave her reason to want to live. If he hadn't come around when he did, after the attack and the rapes and all that she wouldn't be here now. She'd had no desire to move from her bed then, she would have willingly just faded away but he had forced her out of all that. She knew she didn't show him enough how she felt, she didn't tell him enough but there was always just so much going on in her head that she had to work at just behaving like a normal person and living a normal life and being a loving, attentive, perfect little girlfriend was beyond her at the time. Still, days like this, when she was feeling ok if not good even, she needed to let him know that she needed him, appreciated him. Her hand lifted up to his cheek, cupping his jaw as she kissed him warmly, deeply, drawing back after a moment before she ducked her head beneath his chin, murmuring softly. "I'd be so lost without you..." She murmured softly, her lips brushing over his beating pulse, feeling the way it had turned heavy and a little fast. Quietly, she brought his hand around to rest on the tiny swell of her stomach, just staying close to him beneath the spray of water.
