blah... now, for an entire year, I have to hear it from those fickle, yuppie, republican, bandwagonning, homophobes just to the north of me. I'd have rather seen the Dodgers win it. I'm happy for Tim Salmon and Troy Glaus, though, and that's about it. Figures it would take a San Diego area native to be the MVP ;)

The pathetic Padres (5th worst team in baseball) outdrew the Angels in attendance until the last month of the season. The amount of Angels fans that have miraculously appeared is amazing, and at the same time annoying.

Ahhh well, other than the Indians, I don't think I could ever bring myself to root for an AL team in the Series. Well, maybe Boston, but only if they're playing the D'backs.

Anyway, here's to an exciting, eventful offseason, and hoping that my Padres become the 3rd straight NL West representative in the World Series. lol, I just made myself laugh.
