Correct me if I'm wrong... it was little hard to follow there at the end, lol... but you're suggesting that in the end only Montreal is eliminated? The scheduling would be an absolute nightmare if you only eliminated one team. Two have to go. I'd prefer Montreal and Florida. Yes, it may be a crime to break up the "rotation of the future" in Florida, but in my eyes, two wrongs do make a right. How did they get that rotation? A firesale. And when they do suck, the fairweather fans stop showing up. My team sucks on a regular basis, but it doesn't stop about 2.5 million fickle Californians from coming to the games. We all cry about the diluted pitching...well if these two teams go, I can think of 15 crappy pitchers that will be replaced by 15 good/great pitchers. That's a big turnaround.

From what I gather, no decision is going to be made very soon on which two teams it will be... in the meantime, hopefully Minnesota will miraculously find the means to put up a new stadium. The Twins have drafted and developed well... they didn't sell their soul for a World Series. Drop Florida and Montreal, move Pittsburgh to the NL Central and that's it. The media says that moving Texas to the AL Central will be easier on them time-zone-wise. Would Texas fans rather see Detroit, KC, and Minnesota? or Seattle, Oakland, Anaheim? The D'backs don't want to leave the NL West, and frankly, none of the other teams want them to either... some solid rivalries are developing.
