The only one of the "big three" who has expressed any interest in another XF movie is, ironically, DD. . .despite the fact that he's the one who left the show before it ended.
I tend to agree with DD's thinking though: leave a project *BEFORE* you get totally sick of it, so you'll be open to the idea of doing a reunion or sequel at some point. I think CC and GA were both so burned out by their additional two seasons with XF as a TV show that neither of them wants to even contemplate another movie.
From a fan's POV, I have to say I'm not really eager for another movie, given all the awful stuff that happened in season nine. Had they ended it after season seven, or even after season eight, I would have been first in line for the next movie.
But M&S will live on forever in fanfic! After a bit of a "lull" this summer, I've noticed my fanfic mailing list has picked up again. I've also noticed that virtually *ALL* the fanfic now being written is set in the pre-Requiem days. . .looks like I'm not the only X-Phile who wants to pretend seasons eight and nine never happened.
