It's true you need to be careful in using products like Nail Envy. The formaldehyde in the product does affect the nail, and after approximately 4-6 months of use, your nails will become brittle and break, etc. Most nail polishes contain 1% or less formaldehyde, which doesn't affect nails in a negative way.Nail HARDENERS (like Nail Envy) contain around 3%, which causes the problems we've discussed. Look for natural nail STRENGTHENERS. In my business, I use Cuccio's Forte Horsetail Grass Nail Strengthener. It works to strengthen the nail, keeping it flexible as nature intended. My clients love the product.
