I read some of the Bell Curve, as well. I couldn't bring myself to finish it. White supremacy isn't exactly a topic I'm fond of: although, I want to learn how some of those people think.

Jay Gould was inspirational in his mission to help humanity, but his flaws were in trying to impose the righteousness of science against religion. Something Allen Watts would have shuttered unbearably at, and would have opposed.

There is more to spiritual beliefs and dying than the simplicity and ignorance of Christianity (for example).

I believe kids in public schools should be able to pray if they wish, to whatever God they believe in. And those who do not believe shouldn't have to pray.

Why be offended by something you don't believe in anyway?

I'm offended by Tiny Toons.

The only offensive part about it is when it is forced. Make that a rule in school.

That's just something I thought I should say.
