Alrighty, I've had a good deal of time to cool off. I just hope I don't get all riled up again. The points I'm trying to make are:

There is no point in paying reparations for something of the past.

There is little point in building museums and what not when the money could be better spent to take caring of more pressing matters such as feeding people. For those of your familiar with Psychology, you know about Maslow's heirarchy of needs. If people aren't fed, they really don't give a damn about what's going on, thus making matters worse.

There are so many other problems in the world, we should all stop whining about a little discomfort here or there. If everyone pitched in, this world would be a less miserable place. I really find it difficult to see people gripe about being discrimated against and not being able to get a job they want when in other nations, discrimination = death.

As I said earlier, look at the bigger picture. Step back from your own life, or bubble you've built for yourself and look. This slavery thing is just overblown. Slavery is exploitation is it not? Well, there is still plenty of that going on in the world. Why don't we try dealing with that for a change instead of digging up the past?

Well, that's it for now...I'm gonna go cool off again...
