Those of you who might have visited www.advancephase.com and seen the survey will be familiar with the questions. Basically, what do you like about a scenario? Size and complexity of the opposing forces, size of the battlefield, length of the game, complexity of the set up, etc.

That survey provides a simple multiple choice for the answers. However, I want to hear from you the answers to this question, "What makes a scenario good or bad?"

I hope everyone can remember the best scenario they've played. My personal favorites include factors such as: the scenario victory was down to the wire (sometimes even for the other guy's win), the toys you had in at your disposal (I love FT's as long as I don't flame out the first time, every time!), the maneuverabiliy of your force (Cross of Iron infantry/tank mixed force), etc.

Conversely, I hope you can remember what turned you off from the scenario. Also, as part of the turn off, there may be a few scenarios out there that you would never play, why?

As the tabloid says.....inquiring minds want to know!

Pete Pollard
