Hey everyone. This is important. Don't junk without reading. Apologies to anyone who's already seen this.
Hi everyone!

This is not a story about plagarism, rather one of thievery! On Saturday night, I was out finishing up the celebrations of my birthday with some friends in Barton. In the extremely hot conditions of a Canberra winter's night (I think it was -4), some kind people decided I needed some extra air conditioning in my car, and so helped out by smashing a window.

Obviously such kindness needs to be rewarded, so they thought the useless looking bulging bag would be a fair swap. Unfortunately, my PhD notebook was in the bag, along with my diary containing all my contacts for getting my research off the ground and my personal portfolio. This really hurts in terms of repairs to the car and the extra time I will have to put in to make up the lost research.

The notebook has the last 18 months of effort in it, and my research will be down the toilet if it is not recovered. The notebook is a Collins A4, with loads of paper stuck in it.

My diary is a Collins as well, burgundy colour, B5 in size.

My personal portfolio is blue and has all my academic transcripts, referees reports etc in it. If I am really lucky, they would be in or near a Katmandu "Cane Toad"
backpack, which is khaki in colour, and perhaps some clothes scattered around.

If you could bomb this e-mail to other people you know in the ACT, and maybe I can get my PhD back. I can be contacted at jason.mazanov@anu.edu.au

Cheers,
