I should probably clarify here -
It was not that I was sleepy that was the problem...
It was that he rang me just as i took all my clothes off!

It was freaky!

Instinct works like this: Phone rings - head flashes towards the curtains to check that they are indeed shut. Hurridly put on shirt before answering the phone... Why? That's a very good question... But we like to be clothed when we speak to people irl, so i guess its kinda instinctive to feel the same way about chatting on the phone, no? Besides, somewhere in the back of your mind is the sneaking suspicion that they might hear that you are naked. How? anyone's guess, but that's your subconscious for you.

Next? Answer phone while peering out the window to see if I am actually being stalked or if its just some weirdo. And finally - get very confused because the translation gene functions slightly less efficiently at 3:00 in the morning - is this really happening? Hang up quickly so that you can run back upstairs and tell your friends about the amazingly stupid thing that just happened.

Not that it would have worked out. anyway - so he wanted to talk... what about? I can hardly hold down a conversation in this language as it is and over the phone a complete stranger might not be able to get the full meaning of my hand gestures (you know, the ones every one develops pretty quickly when faced with a new language environment)

And the young georgous talented manga artist looking for inspiration?
well, just you wait for
super-confused mostly-naked gaijin-girl to hit the shelves!
