Subject: Happy Independence Day! (the American one)

Happy Fourth of July to all my Australian Internet companions. But I believe you could all care less since you guys aren't Americans (lucky bastards).

Well, to celebrate the anniversary of when "our" founding forefathers bitched and whined about being taxed for tea, We americans take pride in our nation by being all patriotic, honoring those people who killed and got killed in wars, and blowing stuff up. Usually we just blow up fireworks, but since this is the United States, anything is up for grabs if it's not nailed down or isn't already on fire.

Still, my country isn't all bad. Hey, if it's willing to accept me as a native citizen.. um, well, nevermind. Anyway, I will be going to Santa Ana to make some fun and blow stuff up with my family. Santa ana is probably one of the few cities in Orange County that hasn't outlawed fireworks yet (yeah, like we really have to worry about idiots burning their hands on fireworks over all the gangbangers runningaround with firearms, but I digress).

Point of interest, Americans blow things up in fireworks for their Independence Day. Do Australians have an Independence Day of their own and what do they do traditionally to celebrate (other than drinking, of course)? What do you girls and guys do?

just a curious little flip looking for your love
