The Titans RPI at the end of last year (not counting NIT) was 90. I read somewhere that the NIT is sticking with the expanded format, but at present I'd say Detroit has at most an outside shot. After all, if 105 teams make the post-season, and those 105 consist of some teams whose RPI is much lower than 105 because of automatic bids to the NCAA, then I'd say Detroit's RPI can't be much lower than 95 or so to make the NIT. If the Titans go 6-0 or 5-1, then obviously they might pull into that range, especially if they beat Butler this Saturday.

And by the way, TitanEric, will the Free Press posters be on display this Saturday?
