He saw Chrestomanci's shock of what he read, and remembered that day of the war when Elessar killed them.

If you wish for him to come again onto Aelourian soil, to give him another chance, I can grant you that. I must warn however that this could be bad for Aelour, opening the gate of the Forsaken. It's been quite a while though, and the magic would have of worned off, but seeing that you are concerned about Elessar, I will make an acception. I also hold the key to close the gates and bring him back where he was, but this is all up to you Chrestomanci. I give you the choice, he could also be the one to save Aelour, in it's frail state that it's in."

He spoke no more after that, and he waited. Rekai would have liked if Chrestomanci made this decision, it could mean complete failure, or victory. Arrasha was always a testing gryphon though, and would leave it all up to him.
