She could feel the heat of his gaze on her flesh, drawing her mind back to that damn fire. She'd never been one for heat, for fire, not like her brother. But for the first time in a very long time, she rather liked the lick of flame that trailed across her skin in the wake of his icy gaze. Crimson lips pulled back in a half smirk, clearly it had been too long between partners for her body's tastes. But it was so hard to find a willing partner who was capable of not only keeping up with her, but sating her needs! Humans were all but out of the question, being too frail for her to really enjoy herself without harming them. And what was the point if you had to maintain control of yourself?
She watched as Angelina slid the stranger a glass of water, felt the odd change in the male as he looked at the bartender. She watched in the reflection, as his gaze hardened before he spoke. That look in his eyes, right before they had iced over, had been something hungry, something predatory. She arched a slim brow as she turned the thought over in her mind, wondering what sort of monster he must be to have such a visceral reaction to a human's proximity. Though she could have easily listened in on their conversation, she was too busy trying to stitch together what she had learned about this mysterious stranger.
Her gaze slithered over him once more, weighing the odds of his classification against what little she knew. But there were just too many options, she would honestly just be guessing if she tried to narrow it down any farther. She was so busy weighing the chances of him being one option vs the other, she nearly missed Angelina refilling her glass. Blinking, she smiled at the bartender, nodding her thanks as she drew the tumbler back to its original position. Her gaze flicked to the stranger as he spoke, watching as he shifted that massive frame and started towards her.
Violet gaze remained locked, almost daringly, with those of ice blue. She knew then, from that gaze, down the the way he moved, he was a predator. The humans tended to call them killers, but she knew better... The world was populated by two kinds, Predator and Prey. She aught to know, she'd been in it long enough to tell the difference. She shifted casually as he settled on the stool beside her, turning to face him fully as she lifted her drink to her lips. She chuckled as she set the glass back on the bar, shrugging deceptively slim shoulders as she spoke. "Could be my Beast speaks to yours? Or maybe its just in our nature to seek out a warm body on a cold night" She smirked, crossing one long, jean clad leg over the other.
