He took his seat opposite Alicia as if they had seen each other only five minutes ago and he had been parking his car. But as she glanced up to see who had interrupted her pity party, his warm smile said all their happy hellos. "My angel. I've found you at last." He reached across the table and took her hand, careful not to overturn the water glass in his haste.
